Built in the Colonial Georgian style, with its magnificent homestead and two guest cottages, Abbotsford Country House is the perfect location for special occasions, weddings, small conferences & meetings or that romantic night away.

Each of the eight suites is individually decorated in true Australian country style and contains many antiques and pieces of furniture collected from Scotland and Australia. You will find all the comforts and attention to detail one would expect to find at a fine country house. The crispest linen sheets, fluffy cotton towels and robes. Each suite and en-suite is designed and decorated to have an individual character yet still reflecting Australian country style.

Enjoy a glass of wine from the extensive cellar and a good book in the lounge/library, or relax on the wide verandahs with a beer and snooze the day away. Abbotsford Country House is situated at the South Western corner of the Barossa Valley. From Central Adelaide, follow King William Street which becomes OConnell Street, at Prospect Road intersection, turn left onto Main Road and follow until you reach Gawler. (30 minutes) Take first turn left toward Gawler Town centre and the Barossa Valley. Follow through all the suburbs until Murray Street, at the end of Murray Street you will see the signs for Lyndoch on the right hand corner, turn right. Follow Barossa Highway for about 15 minutes, until you approach Barossa Caravan Park on your right. About 100 metres ahead on your left is Yaldara drive, look for blue directional finger sign. Turn here and follow road for 1 kilometre, and Yaldara Drive turns right, follow it 600 metres and entrance is on left.
