Red Ochre Grill aims to provide the visitor with the previously missing link in the Australian experience.

Over the last 9 years the Red Ochre Grill has grown to be considered a must when visiting Cairns. The Red Ochre Grill has created a whole new Australian Cuisine utilising the abundant and until recently untapped traditional native fruits, berries, game meats, fresh seafood and showcases the best of Australian Wines and Beers. The restaurant was totally refurbished in May 2004 with a Modern Contemporary Australian feel.

The menu changes seasonally and is unique in its use of Australian Native foods and Regional Produce. The experience of dining at the Red Ochre Grill is often described as a culinary tour of Australia, but regardless of the superlatives, you will find every dining occasion an adventure and every dish a conversation piece.

The Red Ochre Grill Restaurant is situated in the heart of Cairns. Lying at the centre of a tropical paradise on the shores of Trinity Bay, Cairns is full of natural attractions. It's a stepping-off point to so much, including the Great Barrier Reef, rainforests and scenic hinterland such as the Cape York Peninsula. Cairns is the premier holiday destination in northern Queensland.

In-Box Cafe:
Red Ochre Grill also has The In-Box Cafe offering a wide variety of foods from cooked breakfasts to sandwiches and inexpensive cafi meals. Aimed at the youth and travel market, the cafe is open from 7am to 12 midnight and is ideal for groups at reasonable rates.
