The Lodge is part of a deer-breeding farm that is located at the foot of the Seaward Kaikoura mountain range yet just 1 kilometre from Mangamaunu Bay.

The Lodge has six superbly appointed bedrooms, served by the Lodge's country kitchen, a separate contemporary apartment, known as the Olive House, a first class conference facility and its own cafe-restaurant, known as the Hapuku Cafe.

Its informal rustic elegance provides a perfect setting for anyone wanting extraordinary accommodation, or a conference and meeting centre in a unique location.

Each of the Lodge's six guest rooms and the Olive House is spacious, light- filled, with a spectacular view. The rooms are furnished with contemporary, hand-made furniture, designed and crafted on site from unique hardwoods.
