Restored and refurbished in English country-style for accommodation, this historic house retains many original features.

Choose from four exquisitely decorated bedrooms, each with their own character and all with ensuites or private bathrooms. All bedrooms have fine, crisp, cotton linen, wool duvets, fresh flowers, electric blankets and heaters. Thick fluffy towels and fine New Zealand made toiletries are provided in the bathrooms and ensuites.

Relax on the verandahs or wander around the gracious traditional garden containing protected trees, rare camellias, roses and a small private vineyard.

Delicious continental and cooked breakfasts are served and you can enjoy the elegant guest lounge overlooking the garden. In winter enjoy the comfort of an open fire.

Location
From Christchurch Akaroa is an easy 80km drive. Take State Highway 75 through Little River, over hilltop and into Akaroa. Once arrived in Akaroa village, follow the road onto Rue Lavaud & then first left into Rue Grehan. We are approximately 200 metres up Rue Grehan on the right hand side from its junction with Rue Lavaud, at number 42.
