Rotorua is situated about 3 hours drive from Auckland City and 2.5 hours from Auckland Airport. Koura Lodge is located near the tip of Kawaha Point, a peninsula on the Western shore of Lake Rotorua, just 5 minutes' drive from the City Centre and 20 minutes' drive from Rotorua airport.

Head into City Centre on Te Ngae Rd, Drive through all lights and head for Auckland. Once on Old Taupo Road follow through to Fairy Springs Road. Drive about 2 kms on Fairy Springs Rd to Kawaha Point Rd on your right. Follow to the end, make a left turn on to Grand Vue Rd, then another right immediately after that. You are now on the upper end of Kawaha Point Road. Drive to the end and look for 209 Koura Lodge on the right.
