Chalet Eiger is in Acacia Bay (suburb of Taupo), 7 km from Taupo centre on the shores of lake Taupo.

Driving out of Airport, turn right to State Higway 1, direction Taupo. Drive on the lake shores through Taupo and after the Waikato river bridge turn left into Acacia Bay. Follow the road for approx. 6km and after entering Acacia Bay turn right into Mapara Road. After 1 km first on the left is Gillespie Place. Follow the sign to Chalet Eiger on the private driveway.
