At Meredith House we believe a great Bed and Breakfast should provide two essentials, a great bed and a great breakfast! To this end a full cooked breakfast is included in the room rate using the best, fresh Tasmanian produce. We offer a choice of fresh or preserved fruit and six cereals, porridge (in winter), croissant, bacon, free range eggs, Huon Valley mushrooms, locally grown tomatoes and sausages, toast, locally produced jam, marmalade and Tasmania's famous Leatherwood Honey, as well as a wide range of teas and fresh brewed coffee. We are accredited with the Tourism Council of Tasmania, which is your assurance of a quality business, we also offer our personal assurance of great service, comfort and hospitality. If you require ground floor accommodation please book only Mews Studio or Spa Suite accommodation - all of our other rooms are upstairs on the first floor. We cannot guarantee ground floor accommodation unless you have pre-booked it.

Property Location:
In the centre of town, the house sits on a hill overlooking Great Oyster Bay and has sweeping views of the Freycinet Peninsula. Surrounding the property are beautiful landscaped gardens with a gas barbecue and laundry available for use by guests. We are centrally located for restaurants, shops and services.
Swansea is 135 kilometres from Hobart Airport, take the A3 from the airport (signposted Sorell), at Sorell take follow the signs for St Mary's (A3-Tasman Highway). Once you reach Swansea Meredith House is signposted on the left of the highway. A very limited bus service is available from Hobart and Launceston.
